In our vibrant community of Bridgewater, Just Claying Around offers an inclusive space for budding artists through our summer camps and kid classes. Our focus is on fostering creativity and personal growth through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. From clay to canvas, our programs are designed to ignite the imaginations of children of all ages. Let’s dive into the exciting details of our camps and classes.

Why clay and ceramic painting?

Painting and clay isn’t just fun, it’s SCIENCE – it helps kids’ brains! Working with paint, clay, and all our projects at Just Claying Around helps kids improve their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and unlocks their right-brain creativity. Allowing kids to express themselves with art lets them be their unique selves and boosts their self confidence!

We are offering art classes and camps all summer long, plus kids can come in during their summer break to paint ANYTHING in our studio! That’s right, you don’t have to wait for a class or a camp to jump in. Summer break is a great time to get your kids into new and fun projects.

Discover the Magic of Clay and Painting

Embark on a journey of creativity with our diverse range of art projects, including clay, glass fusing, mosaics, and canvas painting. At Just Claying Around, each week is a dynamic exploration of fun and artistic expression. From sculpting with clay to painting on canvas, children immerse themselves in a world of color and texture, guided by experienced instructors. Our summer camps are designed to spark joy and unleash the creative potential in every participant.

Nurturing Young Minds Through Art

Our camps are structured as week-long sessions running from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 12 pm. Participants receive a camp t-shirt, the softest T they will own, and are encouraged to bring a snack and a drink (no nuts, please). To cap off a week of artistic adventures, we host a lively Pizza Party every Friday, creating a memorable experience for all. Parents can rest assured that their children are in a safe and inspiring environment, where creativity knows no bounds.

Engaging Kids Classes for Every Occasion

From “Bonding Brushes” for Mother’s Day to sensory-rich “Clay Play” sessions, our classes cater to various interests and age groups. Families can bond over pottery wheel throwing in our “Adult & Child Clay Wheel Class,” or let kids unleash their creativity at “Kids Night” – a delightful blend of art, pizza, and games. For a special Father’s Day treat, “Nacho Average Dad Class” offers a unique opportunity for children to craft a personalized art piece.

Unlocking Potential Through Art Education

At Just Claying Around, we believe that art is not just an activity, but a fundamental aspect of childhood development. Painting and working with clay stimulate fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and imaginative thinking in young minds. Our studio is a space where children are encouraged to express themselves freely and gain confidence in their artistic abilities. Whether attending summer camps or drop-in classes, kids have the opportunity to explore their creativity in a nurturing environment.
